Barrell Bourbon Batch 016 is an extremely fruits release by this award winning company, blended from selections of 9 year 9 months, 11, and 15 year old barrels that were aged in American white oak and distilled in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. Crafted and bottled at 105.8 proof in Kentucky, this polished copper like whiskey is sweet on the nose at first, with fruity notes of rubbed orange and lime peel, dried apricot and peach. A rich and lush texture reveals notes of peach, chocolate and coffee. The finish is long with blackberry and elderberry notes, warming the heart and putting a smile on the face.
