Hudson Valley Cabernet Franc can be a deep, brooding wine, with dark fruit flavors and aromas. In some vintages, we blend in a small (25% or less) portion of Merlot in order to brighten the wine and impart more fruit-laced components. This wine pairs well with steak, lamb, or barbecue.
