George W Bush

Jim Beam

“It’s Jim Beam or Me” is what was rumoured that former First Lady, Laura Bush, had once said to George W. Buch years before he would take office in 2001. Being his tipple of choice, George W. Bush had a special place for Jim Beam before going teetotal ahead of becoming the 43rd US President.

Abraham Lincoln

Knob Creek

Also part of the Beam family, Knob Creek takes its name from the boyhood home of the 16th President of the United States that led his country through the American Civil War – Knob Creek.

Although it’s thought that Lincoln’s favorite whisky was Old Overholt Straight Rye (also part of the Beam family) Knob Creek pays homage to the former President with a nod to his upbringing.

Ronald Reagan

Maker's Mark

When Reagan debated Walter Mondale for the 1984 election, he reportedly requested a bottle of Maker’s Mark be left on his hotel room pillow. When Reagan won the presidency in 1981, the distillery commissioned a few cases of special commemorative bottles.
